What is that noise?

Last night, as I was cooking supper, I could hear pecks of something outside. We looked and it was sleeting and sleeted for several hours. It finally stopped before we went to bed.

At 1:30 a.m., I woke up to the sound of Ms. Rylee Grace's "fake" cough - you know - the kind when she wants a little attention / visitation time! I thought - oh Lord! I went in to check on her and she was grinning from ear to ear, had kicked off her covers and had her feet straight in the air - having a grand ol' time playing in her crib! I went back to bed and listened to her laughing and cooing on her monitor - priceless! Around 2:00 she took her passy and went back to sleep.

Around 5:30 this morning, I woke up to thunder and lightening. What do they say? Only in Arkansas? Oh how true!

How blessed are we that we can hear such precious sounds! Life is good!

It was another loss!

Last night, Ashdown's girls played Nashville's girls - always a big game. Although we were leading at half time, Nashville came back and won the game! To say that my husband hates to lose would be an understatement.....a HUGE understatement. He's trying to do better about not taking it out on us at home, though and he's doing a tremendous job! We love him, win or lose!!

Ms. Rylee Grace got to stay with her Nan because her Bec Bec was playing Bunco. Nan was upset because Ms. Rylee Grace went to sleep at 6:00 and did not wake up until I got there to pick her up. Of course, I was worried that she would be messed up in her most important schedule of sleeping all night. WRONG! She went back to sleep when we got home and slept until 7:30 this morning.

It IS a wonderful life!

Rylee Grace is 3 Months Old!!!

It has been three months since our precious Rylee Grace entered this crazy world! I never realized how much she would change my life and the lives of those in my family! Her little personality is starting to really show! She's very independent and a little nosy! She's a lot like her momma and her momo Frances. We look forward to many more months to come!
