Lord, help me thru this!
That was my prayer last night as I was driving to DeQueen in a thunderstorm. It was raining so hard that I had to pull over and wait for it to let up. As I was sitting there, I was watching trees swaying and I prayed, Lord, just help me thru this. After the storm let up and I started driving to DeQueen, I looked up and saw this beautiful rainbow. After we got home from the game, we learned that over 10 people were killed in this storm, north of us (in the Atkins /Russellville area). Roy commented that we were blessed. There is no doubt God was watching over us.

What is that noise?
Last night, as I was cooking supper, I could hear pecks of something outside. We looked and it was sleeting and sleeted for several hours. It finally stopped before we went to bed.
At 1:30 a.m., I woke up to the sound of Ms. Rylee Grace's "fake" cough - you know - the kind when she wants a little attention / visitation time! I thought - oh Lord! I went in to check on her and she was grinning from ear to ear, had kicked off her covers and had her feet straight in the air - having a grand ol' time playing in her crib! I went back to bed and listened to her laughing and cooing on her monitor - priceless! Around 2:00 she took her passy and went back to sleep.
Around 5:30 this morning, I woke up to thunder and lightening. What do they say? Only in Arkansas? Oh how true!
How blessed are we that we can hear such precious sounds! Life is good!
