Two moments this weekend - (1) we're working on turning over from our back to our tummy and (2) we've started carrots! She loves her carrots and I've started squash and she loves those, too! I was quite surprised!

I love my Britt and Zach!

I finally got Zach to stop long enough to take a picture with Brittany and Rylee. She loves her big brother and big sister! They play and visit and she just soaks them up! We love our weekends with them! (PS - note Zach's marker face.......never ceases to humor me)!

My husband, the Electrician.......

Okay - "so what" that we've been living in our house for 2 years now and it's taken that long to get Roy to hang a light above my kitchen sink......and "so what" that it took him about 4 hours to accomplish this task.......and "so what" that he was in a bad mood for the whole 4 hours he was working on it.......IT'S FINISHED AND IT LOOKS GREAT!!! I'm so excited and now we'll just have to finish the ceiling and patch the hole where the old wires were coming out and we'll have to move on to another project to complete........we're almost there!!!!!

Let Daddy do it!

Rylee Grace was a little cranky for her momma during her feeding time, so Daddy thought he would give it a try. The little toot lapped it up! I told Roy he messed up because now he can have some bonding time with Rylee Grace! Of course, he was more than thrilled at her desire to let her daddy do some fun feeding!

Rylee Grace is 4 Months Old!!!!

Rylee Grace is 4 months old today! This picture is a little grainy because I took it from my cell phone, but you can still see that precious smile! She is such a happy baby - we are truly blessed with a precious, precious little girl!

I'm pregnant!!!

Okay - now that I've got your attention, this is not a recent exclamation, but an anniversary of such.........

A year ago today, we found out Ms. Rylee Grace would become a member of our family! We have had lots of fun over the past year - a few scares and stressful moments, but mostly times of fun and excitement. As Rylee grows every day, we continue to enjoy the excitement that comes with having such a joy in our lives!

Senior Night

Last night was Senior Night and the last home game for these five girls. L-R: Jamie Fleming, Shavonna Latson, Brittany "Peanut" Alexander, Coach Backus, Jerica Hubbard and Whitney Owens. They are all absolutely precious to us and we will miss them as if they were our own kids! Good luck to all five of them and our prayer is that they will continue to be sweet young ladies that we have grown to love and that they will fulfill all of their dreams and aspirations!

Way to Go, Britt!!!

Brittany was in the spelling bee last Friday. Roy didn't tell me about it (UGH) or I would have been there, but mom took pictures! She came in 2nd place. Woo Hoo!

"Tummy Time"

Because Rylee hates her "tummy time", I thought I would buy her a new toy to promote a more positive attitude - WRONG! As you can see in the 1st picture, she's okay and having a good time, but by the 2nd picture, frustration has set in. HA!

Peek-A-Boo

Sunday morning, I went to get Rylee out of bed and this is how she greeted me - looking from underneath her bumper pad! She has also started a new thing with her legs - when she's laying on her back, she will lift her bottom up (like she's doing a backbend). Oh my - when she finally learns to turn over and start using those legs to crawl, we'll be in for it!

WE WON!!!!

Go Pantherettes!!!!
What a win vs. DeQueen!!!! Way to go Ladies!!!

Lord, help me thru this!

That was my prayer last night as I was driving to DeQueen in a thunderstorm. It was raining so hard that I had to pull over and wait for it to let up. As I was sitting there, I was watching trees swaying and I prayed, Lord, just help me thru this. After the storm let up and I started driving to DeQueen, I looked up and saw this beautiful rainbow. After we got home from the game, we learned that over 10 people were killed in this storm, north of us (in the Atkins /Russellville area). Roy commented that we were blessed. There is no doubt God was watching over us.

From supper to bedtime......

Our sweet Rylee Grace getting ready for bed with her Bunny from BecBec.....
And just about asleep.......

This past weekend, we introduced rice cereal. Oh what fun. It's been a trial and error process - she doesn't like it with her juice and she doesn't want it until she's had about 4 ounces of her bottle........I guess it doesn't come quick enough from the spoon! She's growing so fast!!!
