A Day with the Davis's

Last Saturday, Roy was at the State Track Meet and Brandy was hosting a baby shower for our friend, Sally. Rylee and I loaded up and made the trip to New Boston and spent the day with the Ellis girls and the rest of the family. I love them and we do not get to see each other often enough, as far as I'm concerned! Rylee and "the boys" (Hudson, Logan, Cain and Eli) had a ball and we promised we would get together again this summer so the kids could play and us "girls" could visit with each other! I already can't wait!!!!

The Pool is OPEN!!!!

Brittany and Zach couldn't WAIT to get in the pool this weekend, so Miss Rylee Grace just HAD to join them. I haven't bought her bathing suit for this year, yet, but she marched in the house and found last years and put it on.......she was ready to go! It's still too cold for me....can't wait for summer, though!

Sunday afternoon, Mother's Day, Rylee came in with my fingernail polish and said, Mommy, do you want me to paint your fingerpails?" I said, "Of course, I do!" So we sat down and Miss Rylee did her thing......

After she finished, she said, "Momma, how have to be still and blow them till they dry." I wonder where she's heard THAT before?

I couldn't have spent my Mother's Day doing anything more precious than this!!

Individuality

Definition: the qualities that set a person apart from all others.......

On a day that was hotter than July, Rylee decides she will go inside and choose her OWN clothing. She returns outside with this shirt and this legging/skirt combo. It's funny to me on several different levels. First of all, the patterns are going like crazy. Second, there is summer and winter all in one. And third, she is posted up on this fence on her tippy-toes "peeking" thru to see what is going on!
