The kids waded over to the Cottenshed sign, which was about ankle deep, but about thigh deep (for them) in the ditches.....Of course - they had a ball......but then, as we were leaving.......
This lovely creature was crossing the road, so I was having major flashbacks about letting them walk into the ditches and wade in the water. What was I thinking?????
This is the road into Cottenshed Park where the park attendent stays. As you can see, the water is up to the Speed Limit sign. 
And this is the shed where the Park Attendent stays. They obviously got their camper and left before the water got too high.
