Summer

Our summer has already been pretty busy! We started off by taking Roy's mom to the Emergency Room in Nashville, where they ultimately transferred her to UAMS in Little Rock. That was two weeks ago, tomorrow. Roy and I stayed up there a few nights and after she was transferred to a regular room, we came on home. We made a trip back up last Sunday afternoon. We called Aunt Kim and asked if we could drop Rylee off with her for a couple of hours while we went to visit with Cathey and luckily, she agreed.

Rylee spent a few hours playing with Kim and below is the picture of her before we ever got out of their neighborhood to start home. She apparently played so hard and really had fun with "Aunt Kim". She's already asking to go back!

Over the past week, we have been dealing with a lot of confusion - Doctors call it delirium. As of today, the nurse commented that she has no confusion and may even get to come home on Monday.

Here is a picture of Rylee playing at the park. Zach played baseball for Nashville Family Dentistry. It was SOOOO hot, but it was fun. They finished up Thursday night and Dr. Lance topped it off with ice cream at Starz (Big T for us old Nashville folks).

I was so impressed with Dr. Lance and Rance Drummond and how they reamined so positive for the boys. Good examples were shown of how adults should act in a sports setting. I know they learned not just baseball, but important life lessons!

And how can you enjoy summer without a good ol' slice of watermelon!

Roy and I have taught 3 weeks of swimming lessons, I have had 2 workshops and will teach Science at Kids College next week. We will have another week of swimming lessons the last week of June and then Roy goes back to work the first week of July. Where has our summer gone! SLOW DOWN, please!
